Well~ Because I have no life unlike other people. Because i dont have a date on a Saturday. Because I have nothing to blog about and my blog is going dead soon.

BUT! This is yuetmui.com and I cook spaghetti the CHEAPO WAY

Nah.. nothing like this.

First you need the ingredients. Cheap ones.

Kimball Traditional Spaghetti Sauce – Not Prego cause this is the cheapo one.

Canned button mushrooms – got plenty of this from CNY. again, cheap one, not the fresh button mushroom.

Onions – using the local red onion. not the big-white-for-western-cooking onions here.

Minced meat – whatever you like. I’m using pork I think.

San Remo Spaghetti – that’s probably the only ingredient i insist on using the slightly branded and expensive ones.

Boil water. Add some olive normal cooking oil and a pinch of salt. Dump in the spaghetti and wait for it to cook.

This should take some time. Now, you can go prepare the ingredients.

 
I like the big button mushrooms so you can cut them into thin slices. If it is the small ones, just cut half.

At this time, check the spaghetti. Very likely it is not cook yet, so we chop some onions

Heat the wok, add oil, fry some garlic and add in the onions.

Throw in the button mushrooms & minced meat later..

 
Eh.. excuse me for the gross pictures. I am the cook and photographer and I only have 2 hands. I have to like *cook* *cook* *chiak chiak chiak* then resume cooking again. Can get heart attack anytime. Damn superspeed and thrilling.

 
Lastly, we add in the spaghetti sauce. Cook it then taste it. I add in more ketchup, sugar, salt, chicken stock and la la la to make the cheap sauce taste better.

I call this the Playboy Apparel inspired blouse coz there’s a similar blouse that I really wanted to get in Playboy but freaking expensive. RM 79 from Zara. Cheat wan lor, the EXACT SAME blouse cost RM49 in Nichi. FML FML.

Ah! My bags! I really wanted to show you guys these since long long time ago. The black one is by far my most expensive purchase ever – Kate Spade handbag! Middle one is Braun Buffel handbag  which a gift from my senior manager. So hang fuk to have such a nice boss right?!

I was kinda broke to get a Chanel inspired bag from MNG, and even those selling at MV kiosk are priced at RM69 lor. But die die i also wanted one so I bought mine from pasar malam. Then hor, i itchy hand went to Chanel website to check out the original one and mine look sooo fake! *Guilty* Whatever la, it cost RM20 only soo cheap! *proud

 
Another favourite buy! Red belt from Forever 21. So surprise to know that the belts there are too loose for me and have to get the smallest size leh *wink* Oh, the pink thingy is super kawaii knitted scarf from Forever 21 too

Actually I bought lots more other stuffs typically hairbands! and other accessories. I’ll post them up after editing them ya!

Heineken Green Room 4 Rocks!

Story after the party: I was feeling dizzy but not drunk after 4 bottles of beers. Drove out to yum cha with pf and kena roadblock after that. Managed to pulled up my brightest smile eva at the policeman and he let us go! Hahaa…

But then as soon as i parked my car at home i wasnt feeling right de. Cant walked properly and probably swinging left and right when i shower. Haha. Then I puke! With my knees on the floor wtf! First time puking. Damn memalukan. And the best part is when i look into the toilet bowl i realised i dindnt have any dinner before all the drinking. Spent entire Saturday sleeping. FML.

My Annual Dinner look. Ok. Thats a very bad picture of me (no ps ok!). It’s company function, so i cant be camwhoring like siao right. Kena maintain standard, got image to jaga ma.

So erm, i did this very nice braid thing to my hair (which cant be seen in the above picture) and added a gold leaves hairband to look like the wreath worn by those Greek Goddess Both hair and make up by Zola.

The dress! Bought this super nice low cut white dress from Carven Sense. My colleague helped me with the extra touch by adding the 2 “gold buckles” at shoulder level which made out of gold string cut from paper bags! And we bought more gold braid to tie around the waist for the complete Goddess-look. Ahaha.

Did my nails – painted them pearl white (but they gave me silver instead, argh!) and added bling bling gold dust. <3

2. Queenie’s wedding dinner

Nothing to shout about this look actually. Basically i wore back the same Carven baju in annual dinner minus the add-ons.

Let my hair down and curl it by my leng chai hairstylist but got disastrous-ly straight even before the dinner starts coz my hair quality is so good that the curls wont hold. FML. 

See that cuteeeee hairband?! Super duper loving this pearl hairband with a cute lil pearl bowtie too! <3 Thats why the picture is lil over-angled coz i gotta show everyone how awesome my hairband is wtf.

and I did the makeup by myself! *so proud* When i look back at the pictures, it actually looks like professional make up ok but this pic is taken with my stupid handphone camera so cant see. very natural and flawless. i am amazed. just that i should have added fake lashes to bling-ed up my eyes.

I do have nice pictures from the wedding but all in my cousin’s camera though. I’ll post them up coz i am really proud of this look. Hahahaha.

Hahaa.. 1st time i’m so vain. beh tahan.

I spent my entire day studying more like finding activities to give myself excuse not to study. and seriously I’m lagging so much! FML.

Revising for exam without attending class is not funny. I think I have forgotten 80% of what I’ve learn. *Pray hard to God that I’ll pass*

Siam Ocean World is located in Bangkok’s Siam Paragon.. and high class shopping mall similar to our Pavillion, just that it’s 10x better.. the food court alone is the size of our entire floor of Mid Valley!

Being a typical accountant working in the financial industry, i pay much attention to the Budget 2010. Have been following the updates through @limkitsiang live twitter updates (he’s damn good man!).. and my company news update the entire evening.

Lalala.. the usual boring stuff la.. develop the tourism.. education.. infrastructure.. lalala.. how much allocate to this.. how much that.. *yawns* which the general public dont really care anyway. coz the budget allocated wont benefit them, instead those who got those “projects”

Back to what is most important – tax rates, reliefs and direct taxes. Personal & corporate tax reduce by 1 percentage point. Fine, nth great. Personal reliefs increased to RM9k (good) & EPF/ Life Insurance relief increase to RM7k (fine). Go read yourself la.. 49 pages budget speech ok!

Lemme highlight this, sure you wont believe one! To promote prudent spending, a service charge of RM50 a year to be imposed on each principal credit card and charge card; and RM25 a year on each supplementary card, effective from Jan 1, 2010.

Can you read anot?! They are imposing service charge on credit card! wtf.

I cannot believe it lor. RM50 per card per year. @_@

I give you 10 reasons why am i so against this!

1. Basically everyone above the legal age who lives in the city/town holds credit card. Be it principal or supplementary. By introduction the stupid service tax thing, the govt is forcing everyone to pay extra taxes. Where got ppl survive without credit card wan. Credit cards are the bestest invention ever lor.

2. You may argue that people are willing to pay hundreds of credit card annual fee so why not RM50 service tax. I tell you what – those annual fee, if you’re good customer can always ask for waiver. Service tax is mandatory =  no waiver = must pay. Ppl were already burdened by the heavy annual fee and interest charge, now it’s like adding salt to the wound. In another words, it’s forcing again.

3. Promote prudent spending? damn, you’re so “right”. Whats up with those stimulus package? Encouraging ppl to spend? Credit card stimulates the economy! Ppl shop and buy with credit cards, thus stimulating the economy.

4. I love my credit cards during sale. Not a problem if you pay your bill promptly and in full. Different banks has different offers – shopping , holidays & dinning. And seriously you actually save quite a bit with those offers. HSBC is damn good during mega sale, got discount in most shops. Citibank, UOB & HLB got lots of dinning offers. And dont get me started on Rebates & 0% Instalment plans. Now i have to cancel and giving up the offers just to save on stupid service taxes. damn.

5. Trust me, no single person holds one single credit card only. It is definitely more than 1. Besides those various offers (refer #4), you always need another backup. Like what happened during my HK/ Macau trip. My one and only card failed and I have to give ALL my cash to the hotel as deposit. Nearly starve to death in a foreign land lor. When you have more than 1 card, it means more service tax. Stupid one.

6. On average, a person will hold credit cards from at least 2 different banks. And from each bank, they have visa & master. Like my case, I have 7 cards. Yeah, 7, seven. 2 supplementary from dad, 2 from HSBC (like i said, i heart HSBC during sales), another AMEX from MBB (only they have AMEX and AMEX gives great travelling privilege), 2 from Public which they conned me into getting them. BUT! only 2 of these are active card! Do the maths la – 6 x RM50, that’s RM300 per year

7. So much about promoting cashless society. Then why the govt are punishing ppl who uses technology and who pay promptly (read: me). Haih.. you get my point right. No energy to argue liao.

8. According to statistic, there’s 11 million cards in circulation as at August 2009. I think the Msian Govt no money already. The money collected from these 11 million cards will get to feed those _____ (insert own words) in Putrajaya.

9. Credit card agents! Their life cukup susah already, camp in shopping malls & petrol stations to get customer. No doubt they can be quite annoying sometimes, they are working real hard to earn money! Summore their basic pay is very low. If everyone cuts down on cards, they eat what to survive?

10. And BANKS! X% of the retail banking is the credit card business. and I cant imagine what’s next for them…

There you go. Enough of facts to support my stand. I just find this whole thing stupid and totally unbelievable.

I rest my case. Period.
