BECAUSE I LOVE MY CAMERA
June 15th, 2010 | 1 Comment
Apology for the lack of updates!
I have been really busy nowadays, travelling every weekend which I’m surely enjoying it
Have been to Malacca and Kuantan over the past 2 weeks. Flying off to Hong Kong (!) this Sunday for a week
A week after my return, it will be Australia (!) and immediately after oz it’s another 2 weeks residential training (!)
In case you miss it, it translate to 1.5 months of NO WORKING! Woohoo…!!
Oh well, just to share some great photos I took during my Malacca trip
Posting this coz I think I look cute wtf.
We did not eat any chicken rice that day. Instead we went to a shop where the locals dine. Ordered Hokkien mee with Black Vineger! Weird combination but absolutely delicious!
And the Oyster Mee Suah
Spot the oyster…
Another one in Sepia Tone
Because I can never get enough of this picture
The great thing about my awesome camera – it takes great picture even the object is moving!
Was walking along Jonker’s Street and suddenly sis went “Excuse me, can someone tell me what is he shielding from??” ROFLMAO!!
OMGWTFBBQ Jonker 88 Durian Cendol! *drools*
It’s just freaking good! Look at the super kao gula melaka which made this dessert heavenly. Omg i tell you!!!!
And I finally realised Malacca indeed has The Best Cendol on Earth. So good that I manage to tempt MK and made her craving “desperately” for one
Detoured to Restoran Malaysia for some famous Kajang satay
Glorious chicken, mutton, fish and duck stay
Sorry if you have to heard this again. But my camera is so so so awesome! Most picture were taken with the intelligence auto or gourmet mode. The only post-editing was hitting the Auto Correct button and tada!!! Absolutely no photoshopping

We cheekily asked for teh tarik during our hike and they surprised us with not just teh tarik but piping HOT teh tarik & karipap <3

TEAMBUILDING – PADDY FIELD TRIP
May 28th, 2010 | 0 Comments
There’s loads more pictures from the official photographer that I haven’t got the chance to lay my hands on. But I cant resist sharing pictures I took during the most awesomesauce teambuilding event!
Sekinchan! That’s Chelvi’s house but Chelvi tak dar, Chelvi is in KL (insider’s joke)
Paddy folks set up super nice orange theme khemah to welcome us! so touchhhhyy..
Teh tarik with glorious food!!!!
Colleague took this when I’m taking this…
After this will be some 31568 of artistic shots of the paddy field
Paddy! ready to be harvest in 2-3 weeks time.
Oh yess!!!! This is the panoramic shot that I put into good use!! Perfect!

The paddy farmer told us the some stories, apparently IT IS VERY DIFFICULT JOB for them so everyone, waste no more rice after this ok.
Artistic shot attempt dunno-number-what
Another panoramic shot I heart <3
Small tips - thou shall never wear green to paddy field coz it will blend in the background. So i wore red! perfect match with the green background
Most paddy field shots taken with my awesomesauce Sony Cybershot TX5. I’m really amazed by what it can do!
We went to Pak Tohiron’s house afterwards - The house behind me in the picture. And again Pak Tohiron not in wtf. But his wife is!
According to the organizer that Pak Tohiron’s house were featured in a movie before (which I forgotten btw). Movie makers brought in helicopter to make the paddy field sway like an ocean and his roof got blew off wtf.
His house upclose
Photographer takes me, I take photographer.
Our first task – Fishing! Me, getting help to prepare the fishing rod.
I got a fish ok! Don’t play play, fishing is my business
Some say the fish must be male cause it likes me. Which might be true I think! I just put the rod into the river, before I could reach my camera to camwhore, the fish got caught already!
Task #2 – someone suppose guess what fish it is while blindfolded and the rest can give clue. The toughest task for me ok! I dont even what the heck it is with my eyes open lor, forget about be blindfolded.
Task #3 = separate the dried shrimp using the traditional way. Elsiy from Sarawak doing her wonders here. Cincai cincai do and the shrimp is magically separated!
Doing what I do best – posing for picture!
Task #4 – L.E.E.C.H.E.S. Scoope as much as you can. fml.
Alright, wasn’t that scary la and I didn’t do the task. Guys with bigger hand did it!
Task #5 – Poker game with rice as chips! Hahaha.. just joking.
Watever game it is. Mesti berposing dulu.
Task #6 – My favourite! Mentarang!
Our task is to eat this. Grilled mentarang. Most yummylicious thing ever! It’s like gigantic Lala, so big like the size of oyster! It has this very sweet taste after grilled, yum yum! <3
Me in action (finally)! The real task is to fill up the plastic bag to approx 1.8 kg. Easy job, no sweat!
Checked into Awana after lunch. Longest ride to Genting eva. Took us some 3-4 hours I think.
To be continued…
